My name is Aakash Sheth, I am a proud COEPian currently residing in United States. I am passioante about use of data science for social developemnt and financial freedom. I have created this site to share my personal projects and my thoughts on various topics. I completed my Masters at University of South Florida in Industrial Engineering with focus of my studies in use of data science for processes improvement. I also have Six Sigma Green Belt Certification in Process Improvement. Apart from that I love photography, travel and food. I am always interested in new start up ideas and cool projects. I discovered data science and machine learning at the beginning of my masters around september 2017 in University of south florida. Since then, I have immersed myself in data science communities on Medium and across the web. I have rich experience in building machine learning solutions. I have built models in multi-calss text classification, financial transaction prediction, stock market prediction, and clustring algorithms . I also have research experince working with Genrative adversarial network models for medical image super resolution.

I have worked on several api applications in my current job as well as during my freelance work. You can find code for few my api development projects in my github repo.

I am interested in building modular machine learning applications that can communicate with existing production systems. I describe my perfect future position to be a mix of data science, machine learning engineering. Essentially a machine learning specialist with the skills to deploy a model to production.
